The rabbit character “Angsthase” inspects a spooky manor. The only thing that’s bigger than his fears is his curiosity, Along the way he meets IX, a ghost dog named after the ninth planet of our Solar System.
“Angsthase” is a short project in order to test a Hybrid-Animation Look and learn the standards of a production pipeline of 3 months for a course at the FH Salzburg, MultiMediaArt. Wish I had more time to try some more shading techniques, paint better backgrounds and improve some of the animation, but it’s better to abandon it for now.
The project had to mimic the famous Animation Sequence Project, but it had to be 20 seconds in length instead and features a circle at the beginning and in the end. Therefore, the animation can be edited to sync with other projects.
